TOTIKA TOHA and Totika Icebreaker Card Deck

A flinging flicking flipping magnetic caps stacking game for two or more players ages 14 to Adult. The TOHA tin serves as both the game container and the game target. Together, the tin and the two white magnetic caps can be set up in a variety of ways to create easy or more difficult challenges.  The string serves as the boundary for hands when tossing caps.

In addition to the official TOTIKA TOHA game instructions, below are some more ideas for play. Send your ideas to contact@therapygames.net

* WHITE CAP TARGET: Instead of the tin as the target and the string as the boundary, use a white cap as the target and the edge of the play surface as the tossing boundary, which players can not cross when tossing. Place the white cap in the center of a smooth hard play surface like the kitchen counter, glass top table or coffee table. Make sure the caps can slide easily. Then, take turns tossing caps and try to connect to the white target cap to build a stack. If the stack is knocked over, place it upright before the next player's turn. (Variation: Use both white caps to create two targets)

* TIN TOP TARGET: Use any tin set-up as long as the tin's top is the target. Players take turns tossing caps trying to connect anywhere on the tin's top or connect to another cap that is on the tin's top. Misses are returned to player and the turn is over. If a cap is knocked off the top during play, it is returned to its player. First to land all their caps on the tin's top wins.

* TIN TIPPING: Instead of a target, the point of this game is to be the player to tip over the tin. Using the white caps, set the tin up in one of the "pedestal" starting positions, either with a center white cap under the tin or both white caps under the tin or the tin's top. See the instruction sheet for "pedestal" positions. Then, players take turns tossing a cap and connecting to the tin while trying to tip over the tin to win. Misses are returned to the player and their turn is over. (Variation: Instead of winning, the player that tips the tin loses.)

When using Totika cards, players decide how and when to ask questions. For example, each time a player hits the target, they pick a card and ask a question. Or, players answer a question each time they hit the target. Use the Totika Icebreaker question cards or write additional questions on blank cards.
